Abidemi Ayodeji Ogunmolu, popularly known as Bidemi Olaoba, is a Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, and music composer. He is renowned for his unique style of Gospel Highlife, delivered with a Fuji flair.
Olaoba began his musical journey as a worship leader in the choir at Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), later becoming actively involved in the CAC Music Ministry and the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). He officially launched his music career in 2016 with the release of his debut single, Final Say. Over time, he became widely recognized for his signature phrase, “The Bible Says.”
His breakthrough came when he was invited to perform at Marathon Praise, a worship event organized by RCCG, which significantly boosted his popularity. Since then, he has released six studio singles, two live performance compilations, and collaborated with several gospel artists.
Olaoba has taken his music beyond Nigeria, performing across Europe, America, and various African nations. In 2020, he pioneered the Unrestricted Praise virtual concert, featuring renowned gospel artists such as Buchi, Tope Alabi, Mike Abdul, Adeleke Adeboye, Eben, and Sammie Okposo. His performance at The Experience 19, a globally acclaimed gospel concert themed “Jesus Wins,” was a major highlight of 2024.
He has graced some of Nigeria’s largest gospel gatherings, including Marathon Messiah’s Praise, Festival of Life (held in Dubai, Dublin, Italy, and the United Kingdom), MASS, HI-Impact Praise, and COZA.
